Picturesquely located on the banks of the River Suir and flanked by the impressive Cathedral of the Assumption, Scoil Angela is a mixed Primary School catering for more than 300 pupils. Boys are enrolled in Junior Infants and transition to other local schools after First Class, whilst girls progress through to Sixth Class.

Scoil Angela boasts a wide range of facilities which include modern, well equipped classrooms, game-zoned playground, indoor school hall, separate lunch room, basketball courts and tennis courts. In addition to the normal curriculum, the school also makes available the following extra-curricular and after school activities: French, Sports Club, Creative Dancing, Speech and Drama, Guitar and Art/Craft.
