The School Principal, Bridann Molony, is a Batchelor of Education Graduate of St Patrick’s College of Education, Drumcondra. She began her teaching career working as a substitute teacher for over 4 years gaining experience in a variety of school settings including multi-grade and special education classes. Having secured a permanent job in Scoil Angela some years previously she became Principal in 1998, the first lay Principal in the history of the school.

In 2002 she completed a training course in Psychotherapy with special emphasis on working psychodynamically with children and adolescents. In 2004 she undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Education at Trinity College, Dublin. She was subsequently awarded a Masters of Studies in Educational Management by Trinity in February 2006 having researched the issue of bullying in Irish Primary schools.

Under her leadership in Scoil Angela, the Education process is dedicated to the formation of each student towards fullness of life; whatever their ability. She has a lifelong personal interest in the area of special needs.  

In Scoil Angela, the entire dedicated staff continues to take on new challenges and continuously seeks to broaden experiences both for themselves and the children
